The gaming company Gaming Innovation Group Inc (GiG) has agreed to sell some of its casino brands to Betsson Group in a deal the company says will be worth €50 million. Some 65 employees will. Alpha Affiliate is a successful player in the iGaming industry for many years, having built several strong casino brands targeting multiple geographical regions. The casino offering is expected to launch by the end of 2020, and this partnership is expected to make a positive contribution to GiG’s revenues from 2021 onwards. Slowly, GiG-powered slots have started to make waves in the online casino industry. The brand has recently started to peel away from exclusive deals with casinos owned by its parent company and began delivering content to larger, more exposed platforms. Bet Seven Online, a privately-owned business backed by former Crown Resorts and Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) executives, has announced plans to roll out its first online gambling brand in the first half of 2021.
